I have always worked in the measurement industry and my experience also comes from working for more
than twenty years in a trade firm in Milan specialized in dealing scientific equipment made in technologically
advanced countries such as the USA, Germany, Japan and France. These measuring instruments were
used in several different fields: electrical, electronical, mechanical, physical, chemical, non-destructive
testing and for research and control during production as well. I worked as sales director, and I also took
care of the service laboratory and training.
In 1993 I decided to open my own firm together with a German business partner, who produces sensors for
mechanical measurement in laboratories and process instruments for production.
My success is due to the excellent hardware, to the quick delivery times and to the technical support we
provide our clients with: from suggesting the best measurement solution to providing optimal training and
after sales assistance.
Starting from 2025, me and my son Federico Acquati, a professional engineer who graduated at Politecnico
di Milano in mechatronics and with over ten years experience in the USA, are the only owners of our
company. It is now time to grow “acquati group” which, according to my philosophy, will provide the best
hardware and technical support possible in the whole EMEA region.
The core business will initially focus on our servopresses and nutrunners.
The new “acquati group” division counts a 760m2 area, near the office, designated to logistics and assembly
tests with servopresses and nutrunners, including a workshop and a laboratory.

Finally, I would like to mention Ms. Elisa Azzola, Federico Acquati’s cousin, who has been working with me since burster Italia was born, with passion, intelligence and professionalism, playing a fundamental role in the success of our company.
